3D Additive Manufacturing
Croom Precision Medical has over 10 years experience in the research and development of Mettalic Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) technology and materials beginning in 2007.
In 2017, the company made a large financial commitment to invest in multiple DSLM technology production centers. These production centers wiill be approved for FDA component manufacture. Current materials offered include Titanium, Stainless Steel and Inconel material. Please contact us for more information.

Ploymer Additive Manufacturing
Croom currently hosts the capability to produce ABS, Nylon, Ultem, Polycarbonate and PLA through FDM and SLS technology.
- Stereolithography - For accuracy and fine detail. Reduced strength compared to other methods, limited temperature range and general tolerances of +/- .15mm up to 100mm can be expected.
- SLS - For tough, functional parts made from a durable Nylon material. General tolerance +/- .2mm up to 100mm can be expected.
- FDM - For ABS, Polycarbonate, Ultem and PLA parts. General tolerance +/- .1mm on x/y axis +/- .25mm on z axis.
- DMLS - For metal parts manufactured from SS 316L, Titanium TI6AL4V, Aluminium, CoCr Co28Cr6Mo, Inconel 718. General tolerance of +/- .05mm.
- Multijet printing - For high resolution multi-material prototypes in photocurable resins.
