Job Spec - Process Manufacturing Engineer

JOB TITLE  -  Manufacturing Process Engineer

REPORTS TO - Operations Manager

Creating, maintaining, and improving controlled technical documents such as prints, procedures, bill of materials, routers and life cycle documentation including Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), Site Acceptance Tests (SATs), Commissioning documents, Validation documents (IQ, OQ, PQ, and PV), Functional Requirements and User Requirement Specifications (FRS/URS), technology transfer documents, Operation Project Plans (OPPs), and Validation Master Plans (VMPs).

Quality oriented, with strong ethical values and integrity.


·         Drive Process Improvements through new technology and equipment introductions.

·         Investigation of factory 4.0/IoT and its live implementation to the current process environment.

·         Support capital acquisition activity from specifying equipment, contract negotiation, Installation and validation.

·         Develop and provide training for manufacturing team members.

·         Communicate and participate in system and process troubleshooting with support team members and with external agents.

·         Lead process improvement initiatives.

·         Conduct Gauge R&R studies for new products and new processes.

·         Application and development of statistical tools for use in driving continuous improvement projects.

·         All other duties as assigned.







·         3+ years production experience

·         Experience in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing Engineering.

·         Proven track record in development of CNC Milling or Turning manufacturing process steps. 

·         CAD/CAM experience – Autodesk Inventor / HSM/ Siemens NX / Inventor Cam/ SolidCam

·         2+ years in a medical device or  Aerospace environment desired

·         Operation of 5 axis mill-turn machining centers proficiency of GD&T is desired but not necessary
