This is a permanent role. Salary scale discussed at interview.
YOU’LL GET THE CHANCE TO:
- Organise the workflow of your team by assigning responsibilities.
- Set daily/weekly/monthly manufacturing objectives and communicate these to the relevant team(s).
- Correct and timely issuing of labour and materials to all jobs.
- Monitor and maintain the supply and quality of raw materials.
- Basic trouble shooting for common problems if necessary.
- Assist in implementing new products/projects.
- Drives procedural compliance and adherence to GMP and the quality standards.
- Perform production planning and update shipping plans.
- Participate and attend meetings as required.
- Take immediate action on downtime to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Perform day to day people management including the hiring for your team.
- Make product occasionally.
- Oversee the training of personnel ensuring training records for your team are up to date.
- Accountable for metrics related to the output, efficiency, yield, safety, quality, service and cost.
- Ensure that operational SOP’s are being adhered to at all times.
- Identify any improvement opportunities with the SOP’s.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
