WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

As Senior Technical Sales Manager you will develop new, long lasting partnerships that drive significant revenue growth that alligns with company strategy, by properly identifying and qualifying each opportunity, expertly positioning CPM, clarifying the drivers to success, crafting the proper solution, and defining and executing the strategy to close profitable and sustainable revenue streams in the market. You’ll also have the opportunity to nurture and leverage some of our longest standing blue-chip clients, working with them to effectively identify new potential solutions and develop a roadmap to achievement of cost efficiencies.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED:

·      3-5 years of technical sales experience in precision engineering/design and development in the Medical Device sector and preference for managing contracts in excess of €500K.

·      You have worked in a fast-moving sales environment, adopted innovative lead generation techniques

·      Effective at cold calling, networking, familiarity with usage of online tools for client research

·      Ability and experience to work through the whole sales cycle (lead generation to contract negotiation and close) including the ability and willingness to generate and follow up revenue on your own leads

·      Ability to articulate a consulting value proposition and align to a wide variety of client problems

·      Knowledge of the regulatory requirements in the market, and commitment to seeking out, understanding and leveraging market drivers

·      Honours degree /Post Graduate qualification in one of the following, relevant disciplines: Engineering, Business Studies, Science, is preferable, but not required

·      An ability to build long-term relationships with clients, be the trusted advisor at CXO level and ability to negotiate strategic contacts will be a distinct plus

·      Strategic. Together with the Operations Director, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth in the business. You will possess the ability to focus on long term goals while marrying that realisation with sales tactics in day to day operations

·      Ability to work on own initiative. The role is highly mobile, your remit and deliverables are clear. You will be expected to drive the technical sales function, with determination, and take responsibility for assuring company and client policies and procedures are correctly followed

·      Commitment to deliverables - Consistency. You will be provided with back office support, there will be times where you’ll be required to work outside regular office hours
